The score out of 100 rating the overall quality of an alcohol-free drink
The formula
The Dry Score is computed from three weighted criteria:
Community reviews
The average rating (out of 5) is normalized to 100. The higher the rating, the more the drink is appreciated by the community.
Nutritional score
Based on calories and sugar per 100 ml. A bonus applies for Nutri-Scores A and B, a penalty for D and E. Less sugar and fewer calories = better score.
Reliability
Capped by the number of reviews: the more reviews a drink has, the more reliable its score. The cap is reached at 10 reviews.
Independence and transparency
Ratings and the Dry Score are never influenced by advertising or commercial partnerships. Every review is posted by a community member and scores are computed automatically by our algorithm. No brand can pay to improve its score.
